AboutNariste Alieva is a multimedia artist, poet, writer, media expert and peace activist, based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Nariste Alieva takes a multimedia approach to art, often translating her poetry into video language with her exhibitions presenting a blend of video installations, paintings, moving images, fine art photographs, sewing, beads and jewelry. Nariste Alieva employs her philosophy that the cultivation of mindfulness and arts can heal the individual self and the world around us. Since 1999, Nariste Alieva has held exhibitions and been awarded through the US, Germany, Russia, USA and Kyrgyzstan. She is a member of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) and Honorary Member of the Gedok, International Women Artists Association (Germany, Munich).
